Plant Jammer wants to help 1 billion people across the world cook more varied and more sustainable food, by making algorithms that make it tastier, easier, and more fun.
Plant Jammer’s digital recipe experiences are published both on our own app and on via embeddable widgets on retailers' and food brands' sites and apps. We want to build hundreds of widgets that use our GraphQL-based API via third-party developers all over the world - think Shopify for recipes.
We are just getting started, but have 150.000 active monthly users and more than 30 major B2B customers in companies like Coop Sweden, Aldi Süd, Miele, Dr Oetker, Vorwerk, Wasa, Südzucker, and Barilla.

As a front-end developer in Plant Jammer, you will largely define your own role based on your passion and skills. But we imagine one of these tasks:
Build new embeddable react widgets that use our GraphQL API to publish unique recipe experiences on our customers' websites - we use Svelte (e.g., an 'empty your fridge widget', a cocktail maker for Bacardi; a Baking app for Dr Oetker; a food formulator for Dupont)
Build a widget marketplace platform, that enables third-party developers to make a living by making widgets.
Improve our new platform, using React, that empowers our clients to use our technology to develop better and more interactive recipes to publish on the above widgets (e.g., studio.plantjammer.com)
We believe it is a must for you to have:
At least 1 year of experience in a company with React and TypeScript.
Structured when coding - strive to see the bigger picture and have a systematic approach.
Experience with Git, Pull Requests and some form of agile/kanban/etc methodology.
We believe it would be an advantage if you:
Have experience with state management such as Redux, Zustand, MobX etc.
Take great pride and joy in creating and building new things. If you have projects you made on the side we would love to see them!
Have a fun-loving personality who doesn’t mind a simple beer paired with sweet potato fries gently dusted with cinnamon and smoked paprika.
