Airofit has developed a tool to help people improve their respiratory abilities and increase lung capacity. With the Airofit Breathing Trainer and an interactive, mobile app, Virtual Breathing Coach, Airofit has made respiratory training accessible to everyone. Primarily used by athletes around the globe at the moment, but the vision is to improve the lives of Olympians and amateurs as well as asthma and COPD patients.
We need your help to improve the core functionalities and implement new functionalities in our mobile app, Virtual Breathing Coach. With knowledge of Bluetooth Low Energy, we hope that you will set out to improve the product’s functionalities. The product has been on market for 1 year and Airofit is currently growing rapidly!

Your tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible for improving the Bluetooth functionalities of the Airofit Breathing Trainer and the mobile app, Virtual Breathing Coach.
Your key area will therefore be to transfer features from hardware to software.
Over time, you will be looking to improve the back-end of our app
You will participate in SCRUM activities on an ongoing basis
The job is a full-time position and is located at our office at Østerbro, Copenhagen. You can work semi-remote with flexible hours. Our work methodology follows SCRUM principles, which means that participation in related activities is required. You will be a part of our development team with 5 developers (2 located in Serbia) and 2 UI designers.
What we expect from you
You are analytical and can challenge current processes and designs
You are able and willing to take ownership of your assignments
You are familiar with our tech-stack, which is hosted on Azure. Our back-end runs in Node with a PostgreSQL database. The app is running on React Native. Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript is expected.
You want to contribute to our culture by supporting social activities
The recruitment process
We will not ask you to forward a resume or a cover letter. We wish to allow all applicants to show their competencies. That is why we will instead ask you to sign up to solve a relevant case, which will be assessed by Steffen Christensen, Lead Developer. All case submissions will receive feedback.
We expect you to be able to solve the case in approximately 30 to 60 minutes, but we will make sure that the case is open ongoingly. Please submit your solution as fast as possible.
After the case submissions have been reviewed, we will invite candidates to take a talent test, TT-38, and an interview.
