Umami Games makes hyper-casual mobile games for worldwide audiences and was founded in 2019. In 2021, we published our first game globally and got +1 million downloads within the first week of launch. Our game reached top chart #1 in the USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, France and 5 more countries.

Our vision is making highly entertaining mobile games and publishing them to reach a broader audience. Our development cycles are extremely short. We focus on producing test-ready prototypes within a few days/weeks.

We are looking for a Game developer/Unity developer who will be able to code and iterate on new game ideas quickly.

You will be part of a small and high-performing team that creates games from scratch. You will be involved in the entirety of the production cycle, from development, to design and release.

Responsibilities:

• Deconstruct and analyze mobile games mechanics

• Design and write bug-free code

• Develop a game in C# and Unity as the main technologies

• Bring new game concepts from prototype to finished product

• After release, polish the game, make A/B tests, fix bugs

At least 1 solo unity mobile project (hobby projects counts) 2-3 years of experience working with C# in Unity (hobby experience counts) Creative and hacker mindset

High level of self-motivation A self-structured individual A passion of game mechanics and special attention to details A humble yet ultra-ambitious individual

Nice to Have:

• Experience with photoshop

• Experience with 3D software

• Experience with shaders, particles and juice

• An eye for visuals/aesthetics

• Ability to work data-driven
