Nordetect is on a mission to improve the way chemicals are used in the food chain. Our product helps farms improve the use of fertilizer that has an economic and environmental impact if overused. We’re in the process of getting our products in the hands of customers and are looking for new members to join us in this mission. We’re seeking a Cartridge Assembler to join our team in Copenhagen as we ramp up our production capacity.

Microfluidic Cartridge Production

The successful candidate will focus on the assembly and testing of our microfluidic sensors, gaining experience in lab-scale production and automation technologies. The individual will be tasked with following and improving SOP's, assembling cartridges from raw materials or components, and testing them on our custom made analysis unit to generate data in close collaboration with colleagues having an engineering and scientific background.

This is an industrial apprenticeship position and focuses on skill development within the domain of industrial production.

The place of work is at COBIS in Nørrebro. Expected working hours are 9.00 to 16.00.

We conduct interviews on a rolling basis and are looking to close the position as soon as possible. 

You can expect the following work on your to-do list:

• Identifying inventory status of required components

• Setting up your workspace for production

• Processing chemistry from raw material form into a usable form

• Integrating chemistry into cartridges and bonding/sealing cartridges

• Quality control of produced cartridges using an optical system

• Sharing your experience with the engineering team and identifying process improvements

We're looking for someone with:

• An industry operator or producer vocational education with , Lab technician educations are also accepted.

• Attention to detail and a passion for organized structured work

• Good eyesight and steady hands

• The motivation to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary start-up environment

• Excellent communication skills in English
