Khora is an award-winning Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality production studio, creating cutting-edge content within multiple application areas. We are 30 full-time employees, and over the last six years, we have produced more than 350 VR/AR applications and hosted more than 800 workshops and events. We are seeking a new colleague for the position as a full-time developer. You will be responsible for building applications for VR and AR on mobile, PC, and MAC, based on the Unity framework. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement functionality translating project ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging application. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, an outgoing approach, and a quality product are essential.
Translate design specification into functional code
Working closely with 3D artists and project managers to establish an effective pipeline and have a well-optimized application
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Excellent knowledge of Unity
Excellent knowledge of C#
Excellent knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and Unity Collab
Experience with game physics and particle systems
Experience with mobile, PC and Mac development
Experience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware
Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving VR and AR standards and development technologies
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
Strong understanding of Unity shaders and Unity Universal Render Pipeline
Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
Have experience with 3D and animation
Have experience with Shader Graph and VFX graph
Have prior experience with VR and AR
Have experience with C++ and Unreal Engine
2-3 years of working experience
Have experience with Xcode
Hold a master’s degree in Computer Science
