Mechanical Engineer

The position

We are opening a new position as Mechanical Engineer to support our ambitious growth plans. In this position you will have a central role in implementing and maintaining our existing and future product roadmap, product optimizations and product quality.

Responsibilities

As such you will be our anchor point for our product portfolio ensuring the design specifications, bill of materials and quality are in place so the supply chain can operate efficiently and maintain our customers satisfaction. This includes:

Technical Support

• Concept development

• Working with prototypes 

• Product Management  

• Design For Manufacturing (DFM).

• Component Monitoring (follow supplier product lifecycle roadmaps)

• Tooling Design & Ownership

• BoM incl. technical specifications

• Compliance, i.e. CE/product/market/environmental certifications and standards

• System Ownership, i.e. Solid-Works/PDM programs

Quality Assurance

• Quality Assurance/Control Design

• Supplier Quality

• Incoming QC Control Setup

• Product Failures

• CAPA/Warranty Handling

Qualifications

It is important that you consider yourself as a person who is persistent with your tasks in a structured and accurate way. You are a proactive and systematic person who loves to follow up on your tasks, and who can juggle many deadlines. Furthermore, you are a person who is inspired by a changing working environment and is a good communicator, as you will be working with many different stakeholders, i.e. internally as well as externally with our suppliers and not least our customers.

• BSc or MSc from DTU or other relevant Institutions with a main focus on mechanical engineering.

• Professional English proficiency, in writing and speaking.

• Recently graduated or a few years of work experience within a manufacturing company and/or mechanical design.

• Experience with CAD systems, we work with Solid-Works. 

• Proficiency in Quality Control incl. knowledge of quality related standards.

• Proficiency in Project Management.
