LendMe is the go-to loan broker in Denmark and has been in the market for 5 years. Our business is doing great and we're in the need of an extra backend developer to help us monitor and perform mainanence on our systems.

The Team

You will become a member of the expanding IT core team building and optimizing the leading Danish loan broker.

You are part of an international, skilled, cross-functional environment where roles arn’t set in stone and include aspects of engineering, product management, build, deployment and operational management and designing.

Your responsibilities will grow to match your abilities and experience.

Your Role

• Building and optimize monitoring tools for our IT systems (traffic, queue, endpoints)

• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve engineering productivity

• Handle user access internally and for our partners for our integrations and platforms

• Adding features to our existing backend applications (eg. REST APIs)

Skills & Qualifications

LendMe’s backend consists of well-structured code, written in-house. We work with the latest technologies on Linux platforms.

Your skillset might look like this:

• have vast experience in working with PHP

• knows the ins and outs of databases (SQL / MariaDB)

• is comfortable with a command-line and Linux based systems

• is used to work with git or similar version control systems

• knowledge of Kubernetes

You are the right candidate if you take pride in keeping systems healthy, clean and operational. While we are constantly developing new features and products, your role will focus mostly on existing systems - which by the way runs very nicely already!

While LendMe is a Danish focused company English is the working laguage within the IT department.

In a small and fast moving company like LendMe, it is important that everybody feels responsible for following personally assigned tasks through to completion, and taking ownership over development tasks and continuous improvements.

Experience and proven competencies are more important to us than a diploma or a formal education.
