We are looking for a highly skilled and engaged lab technician, who would like to participate in ZERION’s journey towards providing patients with faster access to life-changing treatment.

ZERION is a pharmaceutical company developing novel drug products by improving the solubility and bioavailability of small molecule drugs. We aim to bring our first drug  to the market within 4-5 years and to obtain regulatory approval of our whey protein as a novel pharmaceutical excipient. We are now moving into upscaling of our unique Dispersome® formulation technology and need to strengthen our team to progress our programs.

The position

You will work closely with the formulation and analytical scientists in the R&D team. Your main responsibilities are laboratory based in support of the up-scale and further down-streaming of our Dispersome® formulations. The work also involves the characterization of powders and tablets, e.g., solid-state characterizations, assay and dissolution studies. You will have a high degree of independence in your daily laboratory work, data generation and update of databases. In addition, you will be responsible for ordering consumable materials and performing related administrative work. Full training will be provided.

Your profile

We are seeking an experienced laboratory technician, who has the following professional and personal qualifications: 

• Laboratory technician 

• Min. 3 years Practical experience from chemistry, food or pharmaceutical development laboratories

• Good documentation skills to maintain organized and detailed lab book records

• Motivation to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues 

• Commitment to working systematically and delivering high quality results 

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
