Proper is more than efficient property management. Proper is a seal of quality, safety and reliability. Our service is a lean and automated process for landlords and tenants – providing transparency and trust in the rental market. We want the renting experience to be favourable, there are no reasons for it to be a complex and difficult process to rent out, nor should the tenant not feel at home. We scaled more than 30% MOM for 18 months and received our Seed round early 2020. Now we’re preparing for our Series A to reach multiple countries and +100K tenancies!

About the role

As a part of our Customer Success team, you will oversee day-to-day operations and long term business relationships with our customers, the landlords, and their customers, the tenants.

You will be responsible for taking care of new and existing landlords and tenants who contact us for a variety of reasons - and your ultimate responsibility is to help them on their way, ensuring their questions are answered. Furthermore, you will be responsible for enabling our customers to fully adopt Proper in order to grow their business.

We are growing fast! And as we scale up, you will be looking after hundreds of landlords and thousands of tenants. This means that you constantly look for ways to ensure that our customers get the value they expect from Proper. Moreover, you are data-driven, think scalability in your work and can help us improve our communication (eg video guides, templates, FAQ, etc.)

Your responsibilities and tasks

  • Act as a trusted advisor for our customers, making sure all enquiries are researched and responded to in a professional and friendly manner

  • Constantly iterate on processes and contribute to our growth by creating new content, playbooks, and processes.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction (we have close to zero churn and want to keep it that way) and a positive business outcome for the customer and Proper

  • Be a Customer Success advocate internally, i.e. serve as the customer's voice and provide feedback to your colleagues in Product and Sales

  • Close additional revenue opportunities within our existing client base

  • Anticipate questions before they even get asked

The ideal candidate

Your work is characterised by high quality, where your skills within service shows the added value you bring. The ideal candidate is also good at working at a high pace, and must have experience with customer contact over the phone.

Furthermore, it is fantastic if you can tick off the list below and you

  • are native-level fluent in Danish - written as well as spoken (unfortunately at this stage, this is a must)

  • see opportunities and solutions rather than problems: you’re a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset 

  • enjoy working in a constantly evolving environment - we have not figured everything out yet, and need your help with this. 

  • get motivated by big ambitions and the opportunity to revolutionise a traditional industry

  • are highly structured and at the same time effective in your work - and keep calm in busy periods 

  • go the extra mile in order to ensure a fantastic customer experience, ensuring all customers feel important

  • are a team player - we have no room for sharp elbows, politics, or egos in Proper

  • 3+ years of Customer Success or Sales experience in a SaaS business

  • understand bookkeeping and auditing - think systems and structures (a big plus)

And as mentioned in the top of the page - you need to be fluent in speaking and writing Danish in order to serve and help our Danish customers.
