Talented UI/UX Designer – creating intuitive app-solution to help dyslexics
SubReader is an assistive technology start-up company, whose mission is to include people with dyslexia to enjoy foreign language movies. Through our app we enable dyslexics and others with reading difficulties to get subtitles read aloud on their favourite movies and TV-shows.
We are growing fast and now cover more than 100 cinemas in Denmark and Sweden, have integrations to Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO and Viaplay and offer our solution to schools too. Our aim is to become the de-facto standard for reading subtitles aloud.
As a UI/UX Designer, you are the central person to lead the design from user needs into shaping the future of the app and website. Your primary task will be to redesign the userflow and astethics of the existing products to be simple and intuitive. On top of that you will assist us on larger projects, that will help to expand into new business areas. You will work closely with our CTO and the rest of the developer team.
We expect that you are a talented UI/UX designer who wants to be a part of further developing the platform and refine existing features. This also includes conducting user tests and interpreting the results. You like building products for humans that solve a real problem in people’s lives and you know the importance of communication and can clearly express your thoughts and ideas to the rest of the team.
The job suits perfectly as a student job or part-time job, and is expected to be 15-25 hours per week, with flexible working hours.
