What is Circular Innovation Lab ApS?

We are a circular economy firm based out of Copenhagen. We work with global innovators, governments and international organisations to accelerate the global transition towards a circular economy. 

As part of this mission, we in March 2021, we have launched ShopC- the world’s first digital marketplace to buy and sell circular products. The marketplace can be accessed at www.shopc.io

Tasks:

As a full-stack developer, you will work in collaboration with our product team led by our founder. Our product (www.shopc.io) is an e-commerce SaaS product coded in PHP with both a web platform and an app. The work will be divided into 5 main tasks -:

1.Maintenance of the existing system of our e-commerce platform including adding new products to ShopC.io, troubleshooting any issues faced by the customer, ensure smooth functioning of the website.

2.Coding: new features of our e-commerce platform and architecture based on user insights;

3. Designing: Improving the UI-UX with new features and extending existing ones.

4. Integration with other systems such as Magneto and Shopify

5. Working closely together with management to bring users of the platform a great user experience 

Professional qualifications we are looking for:

• a degree in software engineering and if no degree then shows us your work in web development

• Understanding of PHP 

• Experience and knowledge in HTML, CSS (& CSS preprocessors LESS), JavaScript (our software uses jQuery), Smarty 

• Database technologies like MySQL and Cpanel

• Past experience of handling e-commerce websites would be an asset but not a necessity.
