With Pleaz, we help workplaces encourage wellbeing, and love to practice what we preach! The foundation of the company is scientifically based and has been tested within the Danish public school-systems for five years, before pivoting to larger organizations through a digital platform in 2020. We are currently bootstrapped with soft-funding, and are looking for more entrepreneurial spirits to join the team and help bringing the platform to the next level!

Our team and culture
We believe that we can make a difference in the workplaces and cultures of our partnering companies, and thus in the lives of their employees. This is why we go to work in the morning, and why we believe that we can actually create an impact.
We care less about unnecessary formalities and shuffling papers, which is also why we like to think that our culture embodies a "Get Shit Done"-attitude while acknowledging the importance of having a workplace that energizes and motivates.
As such, we are in the process of building a culture that is friendly, curious, and energetic, for which we need additional helping hands. For now, we are 4 full-time employees, around 10 student- and intern-colleagues, and a couple of freelancers. We expect this to grow quite a bit in the next year, and this is hopefully where you enter the picture!
The role (or at least some of it...)
As with most other startups, there are more different types of jobs to be done than people with domain-specific knowledge. For us, this currently means that we are in resolute need of a technical champion, who can help us build our platform, and hopefully grow in that role in the long term!
For now, this includes (but is not limited to):
Being project-lead of the development of our digital health-platform
Mapping and navigating towards the best possible customer experience
Translating business needs into technical to-do's
Having a holistic view of the platform and the planned developments of this
Hopefully growing into becoming the CTO and leading a larger team of developers
Your competencies
We believe that being a part of a startup gives you the opportunity to leverage your knowledge to the largest possible extent, but acknowledge that nobody is a wizard. What we are however looking for, is a person who can help us bring some magic to the technical parts of our company, potentially becoming the CTO of the company. We know that the role includes a large variety of tasks and don't even know ourselves the specific technical competencies necessary, but believe that the following competencies would be very suitable for this role:
Full-stack competencies with front- and back-end understanding
Experience or ambitions in leadership and project management
Solid experience in working with web and app development
Ability to strive in an informal and entrepreneurial setting
Fluency in English is required, and Danish is a plus
... and hopefully, much more for which you can enlighten us!
The specific languages and stacks to be worked on is yet to be decided. While the alpha- and beta-versions have been Wordpress-based, we acknowledge the need for a more customized platform built from (near) scratch - but need help in researching, outlining and taking decisions relevant to this. In this process, you will be in charge of a technical team currently being established, and will have a big say in aforementioned decision and development.
