Passionate Academics are the Future - but 1 in 5 academics does not have a job 1 year after graduation and 1 in 6 is working in a job they are overqualified for. That's straight-up just not good enough. Too many bright graduates are not achieving their dreams, but we are here to make it happen. Therefore, we have built a platform where students can list their master thesis topic and companies can find the right student group for the perfect thesis collaboration match.

Current status

Excelerate is in the very early days of the startup journey.

We have just launched the platform in October last year, and currently, we are testing a lot of things.

We have a great marketing team focusing on social media and offline marketing, however, our current PR / Partnership employee is moving to the US, so we are in need of someone to take over the great work she does. There will be a month overlap between you.

Our process is that you start as an intern->move to a paid part-time study job if everything works out (so did our current PR / Partnership employee)

You get the chance to join a startup from the very early days and that also implies that you will get a lot of responsibility.

We are looking for

A PR / Copy writer / Partnership intern

• Responsible for our PR

• Co-create and execute our PR strategy

• Prepare and write our PR content / Media kit

• Find and engage with the right media / bloggers / influencers

• Create and maintain the content partnerships

  
  

Core skills needed

• Very high level of written English (platform communication is in English)

• Very high level of written Danish (Most of the people you will be in contact with outside of Excelerate is speaking Danish)

• Intermediate understanding of PR / Preferable already a network of sources (media/bloggers/influencers we potentially could work with

• Basic understanding of Social media (either from school or from a previous job)

• Growth mindset (always be learning)

  
  

To start early/mid August

We are looking for someone who is hungry/eager to join Excelerate, who thinks the mission sounds amazing. You are excited to join a startup with all the freedom and responsibilities and hard work that comes along with it.

English language is a requirement, as we predominately speak English at the office, but we couldn't care less about nationality/gender/age. It's all about personality and the fit between us.
