We are looking for a BACKEND DEVELOPER interested in support our start-ups in Denmark. Global Roadrunner (GRR!) is a newly established startup investor company and propagator. Our philosophy is to prime start-ups locally and execute globally. We have built a strong support system and community around our start-ups, because we invest our mind and money in people and ideas that change people’s lives and the way we run businesses.

We are looking for a JAVA FLUENTLY DEVELOPER 

As a JAVA DEVELOPER at Global Roadrunner, you will work closely with one or two of our start-ups. You will be helping out when it is need and when extra momentum is of great importance by working in varies projects across the organisation.

What we expect you to bring

• 5+ years’ experience as a Java developer

• You speak Java fluently and has experience with specifying and developing REST APIs using Spring Boot or similar frameworks

• You are experienced with JPA and knows the pitfalls when working with databases

• You take pride in writing well-designed, tested code, and peer code review is part of your way-of-working

• You are used to working with CI/CD

• You have experience with Source Control Management using Git / BitBucket

• You have experience with Docker, Kubernetes and might have used Heroku before

Our office is at Bredgade in the heart of Copenhagen, but soon we will expand and move to our new 1,400 sg m facility in Pilestræde.
