We have developed a new and unique SaaS-based business development optimization platform. We help businesses and public organizations to create higher level of competitiveness through cost transparency and identification of cost optimization opportunities. We focus on the business transactions (external spend) between companies, which is a monumental source to competitiveness as external spend typically represents 50-70% of company revenue. SKARDE®’s value proposition in short is enablement of additional 3-8% cost reductions while freeing up manual data processing processes typically equivalent of 1-2 FTEs.
Each day, we see how organizations lack access to high quality cost data and therefore navigate in blind or based on faulty data. This is why, we have made it our mission to offer state of the art data foundation for «real time» cost transparency and automated expert insights. Our product has a worldwide relevance, typically aimed towards companies from 50 million EUR in revenue and up to the largest enterprises. With so many businesses benefitting from our help, our market is almost unlimited, and our potential is enormous.
What will you be doing?
Working alongside our CEO and CCO, your first task will be to hit the ground running and to take over responsibility for ongoing sales leads, while (re)formulating a Sales Strategy. We need you to deliver an effective plan and clear business direction right from the onset and help take SKARDE® to the next level.
To begin with, you will additionally focus on reaching out to new customers and closing sales. You will later transition into “playing a coaching role” – by being able to use your prior experience and knowledge in Sales and positive attitude to enthuse and motivate the team. Also, you will help to boost upsell amongst our existing customers, with whom we hope to establish a long-lasting partnership with.
Your Sales tasks will primarily be performed online and by phone. Initial customer outreach and further processing will all take place online. In-person visits will only be required for larger clients, or those requiring face-to-face interaction, however, these do happen, and are a great opportunity for in-person relationship and trust building. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the overall Marketing Strategy, e.g. setting and tracking KPI’s and goals, assembling team (when plausible), monitoring budget, product pricing, marketing communications, advertising, public relations and marketing analytics.
Who you are?
Your intellect allows you to: get to know Digital Products and new technologies quickly, understand the challenges that customers and businesses both face, and to spot new opportunities within the business and out in the market.
You understand what is important to customers. You show exceptional attention to detail and know what it takes to offer a great customer experience and make them want to work with us as partners.
You have several years of experience in Software Sales and Marketing and can provide evidence of the results you have achieved in previous roles. It is a benefit if you know how to work with Software as a Service (SaaS) and pricing approaches.
You have the ability to run the entire Sales process, from marketing lead conversion to closing the deal, both online, in-person and over the phone. You also have experience working with large enterprise sales with revenue of 0.5-5 billion EUR revenue (we also target SME segment down to 50 million EUR in revenue).
You have relevant prior experience within Marketing related to the role described.
As Scandinavia is our largest market, you must be fluent in written and spoken English and Danish (or another Scandinavian language), with impeccable grammar.
You should already have an extensive network of contacts and be willing to utilize them from day one.
