About DSG

Danish Startup Group (DSG) is a non-profit organization in Copenhagen. Our vision is to inspire and support entrepreneurs in their startup journey. We do that by engaging with our members in a variety of events:start-up tours, workshops, learning activities and social networking opportunities.

Through our events, we strive to provide our members valuable insights into the national and global startup environment and connect them with like-minded peers from different universities, colleges and professions.

The Role

We got several ideas for improvements for our current tools and website, but this is very much a position where you get to shape your role from your own inputs and ideas. A few task could involve:

• Maintaining and updating our current WordPress theme build in PHP with new features and UX best practices

• Integration of frontend towards startup jobs API

• Building automation from member data

You'll be working together with the rest of the IT Team as well as the other volunteers in Danish Startup Group. We expect a work load of 1-2 hours a week in addition to optional social or startup events.

Abilities and Skills

You're a student, upcoming or full time developer with an interest in the Danish startup ecosystem and want a playground to test out your ideas and skills. Furthermore, you are:

• Familiar with PHP, JavaScript and WordPress

• Creative and enjoying working with people

• Work independently and not afraid of taking initiatives

• Excited about working in an international and diverse culture
