Woodsense is looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to help us further develop our sensor solution. At Woodsense we work to eliminate waste in the construction industry by capturing damages in wooden structures in an early-stage using our IoT sensors measuring moisture-levels amongst other things and thereby preventing the need for replacement of the wood.
The construction industry is accountable for approximately 40% of the world's CO2 emissions so if you are looking to make an impact Woodsense could be the right place for you.
What we're looking for
In order to capture all damages we are constantly looking to improve our sensors hence we need someone with great embedded/hardware knowledge and skills to take ownership of the development and help us make sure that our sensors are of the highest quality.
Your tasks will include but not be limited to:
Develop and improve on existing sensors
Implement support for new sensors
Perform tests of the sensors
Preferred qualifications
Experience with C programming
Experience with Embedded Firmware Development
Experience with build scripts (Makefile’s, etc.)
It is a plus if you
Have experience working with the LoRa protocol
Have experience working in a startup
