Digital Storyteller for leading Nordic venture fund

We are looking to recruit a Digital Storyteller to join our platform team. The position is full-time, ideal for someone with a couple of years of relevant work experience. The place of work is in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Digital Storyteller will work directly with the Head of Platform & Marketing to support the fund's marketing, communications, and outreach activities. The ideal candidate is passionate about seeking out and telling the stories of our unique community and engaging with the Nordic and Baltic startup ecosystems in an effective and authentic way. You have a balance of creativity, fearlessness, and a structured "get-shit-done" approach. You are not afraid to take action, evaluate, and improve.

The purpose of the role will be to make sure we, as a fund, don't miss a beat when it comes to reinforcing our presence in the Nordic and Baltic startup ecosystems. This objective requires a constant presence and clear voice in primarily digital channels.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Formalize a social media strategy as an extension to our overall brand and communications strategy, execute on it, measure its success rate, and iterate as needed.

• Manage and take ownership of our owned communication channels: social media (primarily LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram), newsletter, and website.

• Producing content in various formats from scratch, involving a range of different people and stakeholders

• Monitoring and engaging with external content and media

• Plan, coordinate, and execute physical and virtual events, with help from the team.

• Assist the Head of Platform with building out byFounders' Platform value offering - e.g. engaging with our byFounders Collective, portfolio companies, facilitate virtual and physical workshops and meetings, as well as other formats for knowledge sharing.

• Contribute to other operational activities associated with the fund

Desired qualifications:

• 1-2 years of full-time work experience

• Two years of experience managing digital communication channels, in particular social media and newsletter systems. It's a requirement that you are fluent in at least 2 of the platforms we use.

• Excellent written (English) and interpersonal communication skills

• Fluency in >1 Nordic language is a clear advantage but not a strict requirement.

• It's an advantage if you have experience from working in or with startups or in the tech ecosystem, but not a requirement.

• It's important, however, that you can quickly obtain an adequate level of understanding of what's going on in the startup ecosystem and where there are opportunities for us to engage.
