We’re building a digital experience, adding layers of machine learning and combining with a service level you only find in the top user-centric startups.

You will become a key player in a team with plenty of ambition, experience and talent. You will get full autonomy to work on your own areas/features in the product, of course in close collaboration with the Co-founder responsible for the product and the tech team of three.

What we are looking for

• A bright fast learner. We will teach and grow you on many levels, so desire to improve and mindset are more important than years of experience.

• Communication skills, respect and humility. We work with autonomy, but as a team.

• A passion for full-stack development. You might see yourself as more on the front-end, but some back-end experience is important too. We need you to end up working full-stack, so don’t join if you never want to touch back-end work.

• A past record of building things. Ideally you have experience building scalable web/SaaS applications. You eat Javascript frameworks like Angular for breakfast and maybe even Java (Spring) with MongoDB for lunch.

• Attention to detail. Keeping things organized should be natural to you. 

• You won’t run away when asked to write tests (unit, integration, end to end etc.) or when asked to rewrite your code.

• A strong startup and Lean Kanban / Agile / Scrum(ish) mindset. You’re joining a fast-paced startup, so be open to changes. A track record in startups is an advantage.

• You think in iterations and don’t rush into building for the sake of building. We build features to help the business, not to show off.

• A down to earth mentality. You thrive in a fast-moving growth environment and keep a cool mind.

About Propstep

Propstep is the platform for new properties. We help tenants find the right place to live while managing the rental process for the owner of the building. We’re digitizing long-term rentals.

In our first two years of existence we have landed many of the top 20 property developers as customers and we have built a very popular platform for end-users which drives a lot of traffic and signs up a lot of users every day. What drives us is a core focus on creating the best possible user experience.

We’re crazy enough to think we can change the world. To do that we have started Propstep Rebuild where we plant trees and rebuild nature on the behalf of each new tenant we help move into a new home (which always comes with a large CO2 footprint).
