GamerzClass is a fast-growing content and tech company that produces educational Masterclasses within esports. Founded in 2018, GamerzClass started as a passion project between two friends that wanted to learn how to play Counter-Strike from the best players in the world. Fast-forwarding to mid-2020, the company has managed to reach a core team of 14 after being selected to be part of 500 startups’s accelerator program in San Fransisco. And have locked in top 25 pros in 4 major game titles.

We are looking for a skilled backend developer to join our fast-growing tech and content team in the heart of Copenhagen. Preferably someone who is interested in gaming and esports. As our new Back-end Developer, you will mainly be working with our APIs and backend applications to make sure they can scale to handle the very large data sets we’re working with.

You’ll be responsible for moving your own code into production. We don’t expect you to tick every box in our current tech stack. What matters is that you have some experience as a developer, you like to learn, and know how to leverage your experience across technology stacks and languages.

• PHP

• Laravel

• Eloquent (ORM)

• CI/CD (CodeShip)

• Database design

• Have experience with Vue.js and Nuxt.js

• Have experience with GraphQL as we want to transition our API(s) into GraphQL
