At Heap we are rethinking how pensions should be and are looking for a passionate student/part-time visual designer (15-20 hrs/wk) who would like to join us on our journey towards a new digital and user-centric pension solution.

The role

As a student/part-time designer at Heap you will be an integral part of our startup and help execute on various visual designs tasks as well as being part of shaping the visual identity for our future user interface and brand. You will work closely together with our CPO and our Head of Design and in your daily work also collaborate with developers, analysts and external agencies.

We do not expect you to be a rockstar designer right off the bat, but we are dedicated to using our experience and skills in helping you growth as a digital designer and use your current abilities to the best possible extent. 

Tasks

Your tasks will vary and grow as we build, launch and scale our product, but some examples could be:

• Creating new UI components for our digital product.

• Creating the visual design for user flows.

• Assisting our frontend developers in various design tasks.

• Building and maintaining our brand and design system.

• Create various design assets for online marketing.

Basic qualifications

• 1 + years of visual design experience.

• Experience using Sketch and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Preferred qualifications

• A portfolio showcasing prior experience working on other digital products or services.

• Experience in creating micro-interactions and small animations.

• Experience in creating interactive prototypes.

• Knowledge of mobile and web patterns.
