Nordetect is on a mission to improve the way chemicals are used in the food chain. Our product helps farm managers and agronomists improve the use of fertilizer that has an economic and environmental impact if overused. We’re in the process of getting our products in the hands of customers and are looking for new members to join us in this mission. We’re seeking an R&D scientist to join our team in Copenhagen as we explore new types of diagnostic tests with our clients.
The successful candidate will work on developing new diagnostic tests on our Lab-on-a-Chip platform, gaining experience in biochemical analysis, polymer sensing, and analytical instrumentation. This is a hands-on position that includes formulating sensors from raw materials, integrating the sensors with our Lab-on-a-chip, and benchmarking the sensor response to competing methods. You will be working with a cross-functional team with colleagues that have an engineering or scientific background.
The position is unpaid and focuses on skill development within this domain that exists at the intersection of chemistry, nanotech, photonics, and machine learning. We look to extend this internship into a full-time employment opportunity for the right candidate.
The place of work is at Symbion Science Park in Østerbro. Expected working hours 9.00 to 17.00 up to a total of 37 hours per week.
We conduct interviews on a rolling basis and are looking to close the position as soon as possible.
