The Sound Clique is a Copenhagen based online media and platform, connecting DJs, musicians, festivals and events with the fans of electronic music. A big focus on our platform is supporting local musicians and events. Since our launch in 2016 we have grown internationally, and we are proud to be now working with some of the best artists, clubs/promoters, and PR agencies across Europe. An introduction to what we are looking for
We are searching for a curious and creative person with an eye for design details, and visual storytelling. The graphic designer joining The Sound Clique will play an important role in designing and executing our Interview and Guest DJ Mix covers, Promotional video teasers, and visually communicating our brand and identity online.
What you will do:
As a Graphic Designer your job will be to produce high quality visuals (images, videos or animations), in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or similar alternative softwares.
Work closely with our founder and content creators to create graphic designs and visuals for our Interviews/Guest DJ mixes, Social Media content, YouTube, Website visuals etc.).
We want this to be a fun and learning experience for you, therefore the job will be adapted to suit your skills and interests within graphic design and multimedia.
Expect to spend up to 5 hours a week on some of the below responsibilities.
NOTE: the responsibilities are recurring, but not always on a weekly basis. Therefore, don’t expect to be working on all of them every week.
Responsibilities:
Highly encouraged - freedom and proactiveness in coming up with new ideas for graphic designs, visual communication and experimenting with new trends or visual formats
Work towards owning the visual identity of the brand, and how it can stand out to its competitors in the music industry
Be responsible for creating graphic designs and visuals for Interviews/Guest DJ mixes, Social Media content, YouTube, Website visuals etc.
Qualifications and skills:
Very important - you have a passion for electronic music/live music and events
You curious and creative about graphic design and want to be unique
You are structured and can work with deadlines
You are proactive and have a strong desire to learn and improve
You like to work in a team, collaborate, exchange ideas and get inspired
Past experience in a similar position is an advantage
And most importantly — we don't expect you to be an expert in all of the above, but you should have an open mind and drive to learn, while having fun and being part of a team
