We are looking for a talented and commercially-minded Financial Controller to manage our daily transactions and to strengthen a team of 3 employees in our Finance department based in Copenhagen. You will be part of an international and vibrant company that has been growing and maturing consistently in the past few years. You will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for ensuring accuracy in accounting operations, being involved in process optimization and financial reporting.

Your main responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of financial routines and closing procedures.

• Maintenance of an efficient accounting and bookkeeping function

• Supporting the CFO on financial planning, budgeting processes, and cash/risk management

• Accounting, overseeing debtor and creditor management

• Supporting with auditing and reporting

Your profile:

• You have at least 3-4 years of experience within accounting or similar

• You have great knowledge of local accounting principles as well as international accounting experience

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of MS Excel

• You have strong strategic and analytical capabilities and you are able to maintain the overview in a complex environment

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• You have a commercial understanding of business and are used to develop the business through your ideas and knowledge

• You are a detailed-oriented person, good with deadlines and lead by acting as a role model

• You are a great communicator in both Danish and English
