Travelit are looking for a new key member to take Travelit to new heights and further develop our platform and app.

Traveling between Aarhus and Copenhagen we were always tied of having to go into every single booking page from every supplier in order to see their journeys. Why cant bus, trains, planes, shared cars and urban mobility all be shown on the same page in a structured view with sorting options.

That simple idea is what Travelit is based on and we weren't the only ones to think that it was a good idea.

Intro

Travelit is working to make positive change in mobility for all citizens. At Travelit we want to create a real alternative to private car-ownership, by creating better synergies between all domestic transport providers.

We have created a meta-searcher, that gathers static data from all transport providers in Denmark: i.e. Flixbus, DSB, GoMore, SAS etc.

This data is presented in a searchable and manageable way to the consumer, making it easy to find the cheapest tickets and the fastest fares.

A year ago we started from scratch and today we wish to expand our team, to develop deeper integrations with transport providers, and better features to our customer.

Timing

Before the current situation Travelit showed traction from 3000+ visitors every month with very limited budget. With a product that weren't 100% ready yet we still saw people using the product and most important. They shared it.

The lockdown has giving us a possibility to think differently and we now want to expand our team to further push our development in all areas. With traction and proof of business we now want to accelerate and this is why we also want you to take on this journey with us.

The candidate

Everyone can apply. You just have to be an open minded person willing to take ownership of your daily work and projects. Are you just starting your career in programming or maybe at the final year of your semester or an experienced developer. The only thing important is that you can see yourself in this position and want to make an impact.

Your job

You will be our product owner with responsibility for all our development, rethink and help us shape Travelit into a new and better version that fits the international market.

Your job will primarily be development on a new version of Travelit with new feature and iOS/Android apps. You will be working in a team, developing the second version of our metasearch engine, and implementation of these changes will be key. If you have experience developing data management systems, it is a big plus.
