We're SYBO ‒ a mobile game studio in the heart of Copenhagen, striving to craft meaningful experiences that can be enjoyed by everyone no matter what their skill. It takes all kinds of talents to bring this vision to life, and right now we’re looking for a Game Design Intern to join our Game team.
Your main areas of responsibility will include using our internal tools for planning and scheduling live gameplay events, doing a fair bit of gameplay testing, as well as participating in the design and documentation of new features. You are also more likely to be asked to play a good amount of mobile games!
You will be working in a team that handles all aspects of development, from ideation over implementation to release and live ops. You will collaborate mainly with Game and UX Designers to plan and design new features and events, but also assist in collecting and interpreting data from our analysis team in order to evaluate how our designs play out in real life.
This is an unique opportunity for someone interested in video games as a career to get practical experience working in the video games industry for a leading mobile studio.
We expect that you take on the internship as part of your studies and are able to credit the work done here as part of your degree completion. Ideally, you can work with us for a 6 month period, but even if your preference is slightly different, let us know.
We don't have any strict requirements, but here's a list of things that will come in handy:
Currently studying a relevant degree
Proficiency in English and good communication skills.
Experience with Photoshop.
A systematic mindset and not being afraid of neither text editors and spreadsheets.
A Score Multiplier of 13+ in Subway Surfers.
And, most importantly, a passion for developing enjoyable mobile games.
What we can brag about:
The best office location in Copenhagen
A chance to do the work of your life
An informal and creative culture where everybody is heard
A balanced lunch buffet
Currently 22+ nationalities
And a lot of fun - also when working!
The internship is unpaid as we expect it to form part of your studies. We have good experiences being able to offer student jobs or full time positions to our interns, provided after our good cooperation during the internship if we see a good match!
