VoiceBoxer is a company revolutionizing the language services by making web communications multilingual thanks to live simultaneous interpretation. We have experienced incredible growth during the last months during the COVID-19 pandemic as more and more customers are migrating to our service, and we are now looking for an ambitious CTO to lead the development of our platform to support this growth.

You will be working together with our CEO and you will be responsible for the strategy, architecture, and development of our platform. You will be managing developers both internal and external.

You will be a key member for our growth and scaling phase.

We are proud to say that today…

VoiceBoxer is built entirely on Node.js. From the backend that exposes an open REST API using modules like Express and Passport to the different frontends built with React and Browserify. You’ll be able to work with the latest technologies like RabbitMQ for message queuing and WebRTC which is used for streaming video and audio, currently through a Kurento Media Server and in the future with a managed infrastructure.

• An open mind and a fast moving problem-solving attitude

• Experience with Node.js

• Some knowledge with WebRTC, MongoDB, REST, JSON and RabbitMQ

• Experience or understanding of streaming technologies

• Hands-on practical experience with developing complex systems

• Knowledge of a wide range of frameworks and libraries

• Experience or interest in managing a team developers and/or external developers

• A portfolio of code you've written

• Start-up experience or start-up mentality
