Smart toy startup seeking a creative and talented game design intern with Unity experience to help develop our mobile gaming app.
UDU is a danish toy-startup from DTU who develop interactive smart toys that make it more fun for kids to play and be physically active. In doing so, we help solve the major health problems inactivity causes for the next generations.
We are a rapidly growing startup and are currently working on finalizing the details on our first revolutionary product, getting it ready for production and patenting the technical solutions. To make it as fun as possible, the toy will connect with a gaming platform on the user’s smartphone. We are currently at the stage where this mobile gaming platform is ready to be developed. Here we want to design and program fun and cool games that kids will play with for hours, and this is where you come into the picture.
In collaboration with us, ideate on and develop an awesome game experience
Co-design the game layout, storyline, UX and style
Co-design the core-game, challenges and quests
Collaborate with our external electronics suppliers on data input and output
Make apps mockups
Test on target group (kids 8+) and get instant feedback on your work.
You need to...
Have a playful and open mindset and a passion for game design!
Have the skills to design funny, cool and innovative games for kids in the age 8+
Have an eye for modern mobile app design that is intuitive and visually appealing.
Have some experience with Unity development so you understand what has to be programmed
Have experiences with mockups, iterative prototyping, and user tests
(Graphics and game-art experience is a plus)
