We work to eliminate waste in the construction industry. 40% of the world's CO2 emissions come from building consumption & construction. By switching to Sustainable Building Operations can we have a major impact on that. We have developed a solution to detect damages early in buildings. By detecting damages early, fewer renovations, meaning less material waste & better resource usage. Everybody wins.

Intro

Sustainable Building Operations might not be the sexiest term ever, but if you want to have a true impact on the environment, this is an important place to make a change. Also a field with an enormous potential for improvements through innovation!

Status & need

We've spent the last year and half looking into this and have developed a solution working from end to end, hardware & software. To take this further, Woodsense needs a dedicated co-founder who is eager to create something new, to make a change in a traditional industry, who love building & brainstorming on new ideas.

We've a functioning product sold and out in usage at multiple customer sites and won several awards, including DISIE's Days of Impact 2019, Erhvervsstyrelsens Circular Data Challenge & received an InnoBooster grant.

Skills needed

We don't require a specific skill set - the mindset is most important. The added co-founder could be a brilliant business developer or an convincing salesman able to sell in complex situations. You can be 22 years old female who has always dreamt of being a part of a startup and have an immense desire to create something meaningful or a 60 year old corporate guy who is curious to join a startup and use his immense experience to help accelerate our mission.

It's a plus if you already know about the building industry, but not required.
