We need a skilled, efficient and creative developer with experience of Python and Raspberry Pi. The project is a one-off work of art: some 100 servo motors controlled by a Raspberry Pi. Basic lo-level interface is done already.
In collaboration with the artist Katya Sander, UX mentor is executing an art project; a several square meter big work of art for a technical high school in Viborg, Jutland.
The work must be completed in April 2020, and includes a lot of exciting hardware, software and electronics.
We are looking for a skilled student worker or intern that can help us
1) Create a robust architecture and GUI for interacting with the motors
2) Deploy and document the system HW and SW so that it can be maintained several years from now.
3) Be able to start soon and be flexible with working hours.
You should be creative, easy going, efficient, and have a good understanding of programming in general, math and IoT.
You will be working in close collaboration with the artist and Frederik Bundgaard on the various aspects of the project. We will provide an office space, free lunch and a nice environment, and a salary matching your skills. The project is to be executed within 2-3 months, so expect that the job could take a lot of your time.
