The Sound Clique is a Copenhagen based online media and platform for music, connecting DJs, musicians, festivals and events with the fans of electronic music. Since our launch in 2016 we have grown beyond the borders of Denmark and we are proud to be working with some of the biggest artists, promoters, and PR agencies across Scandinavia and Europe. We are on a continuous growth path, and want you to grow with us.

What you’ll do:

As Digital Marketing and Communication Manager your job will be to raise awareness of our platform and services through our Social Media Channels and our website.

We want this to be a fun experience for you, therefore the job can be adapted to suit your skills and interests within Digital Marketing and Communication, and your passion for music.

You will work with the founder, our team and media partners. Expect to spend around 5 hours a week on some of the below responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and co-lead some of our Social Media and Digital Marketing projects

  • Content production and planning across our Social Media channels

  • Social Media community management

  • Social Media analytics; audience insights, performance and reports of our paid initiatives and cross-collaborations with partners

  • Analyze the reporting data and insights from our website and paid initiatives

  • Update our website; news articles, music and press releases, update event calendar etc.

  • Highly encouraged - freedom and proactiveness in coming up with, developing and testing new concepts and marketing strategies, with the goal to further strengthen our online presence, global reach and establishment as a key platform for electronic music in Scandinavia and Western Europe

 

NOTE: the tasks and responsibilities above are recurring, but not necessarily on a weekly basis. Therefore don’t expect to be working on all of them every week.

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Most importantly you have burning passion for electronic music and events, and maybe you want to pursue a career within the field

  • You have some experience or interest in managing Social Media accounts

  • You have strong communication skills in English

  • You have good copywriting skills with an eye for detail

  • You are structured and can work with deadlines

  • You have an open mind, you are proactive and have a strong desire to learn

The Sound Clique started back in 2016 out of passion for electronic music. The online platform aims to support and promote local and international djs, artists, and events, and connect them with fans of electronic music. We aim to promote their sound through our guest dj-mix series, and spread their voice through our acclaimed 'Behind The Decks' interview series. We have featured interviews and guest dj-mixes from talented artists such as, Claptone, Butch, Mark Knight, Guy J, Pleasurekraft, James Zabiela, Recondite, ANNA, Adana Twins, Coyu, Rodriguez Jr, Tim Andresen, CPH Deep crew, Christian Nielsen and many other. Since the launch of our website in 2016, we have built one of the leading platforms for Electronic music and events in Scandinavia. We have worked internationally with some of the biggest events in Europe including, ADE, Sonar Festival, The BPM Festival Portugal, Dimensions Festival, Reworks Festival, and other. Locally we have worked with clubs and events such as Distortion Festival, Strøm Festival, Backyard Sessions Malmö, Karrusel Festival, Culture Box, CPH Deep, IG60, Pumpehuset, Rust, Ved Siden Af and many other. Our aim going forward is to continue growing our community internationally, establish more partnerships and collaborations across Scandinavia, and increase our platform-offerings for both artists and fans.
