Can you build a webshop suitable for a new and ambitious Danish speaker company? SOWA is on a quest to make event audio available to anyone. We do so by creating the most portable and intuitive event speaker system, that anyone can use. We are looking for an intern to build a new website, preferably on a platform that is easy to maintain (e.g. Wordpress + WooCommerce / Shopify / Squarespace).

E-Commerce & SEO

SOWA will launch it's first speaker system this winter and need a new website. The webshop will be our primary sales channel and needs to be developed from scratch. On the website, pre-made bundles should be available for purchase, or the customer should be able to build his/her own speaker system. The website should be SEO optimised for search terms that we define in collaboration.

Your Objectives

• Create a complete website including:

  • Webshop that is easily maintainable without excessive programming experience (e.g. WooCommerce / Shopify)

  • Split test landing pages and pricing models

  • Set up a framework for providing online customer support

• SEO optimisation of the website

Working at SOWA Sound

You will work in an early-stage startup and have a lot of responsibility. You will be responsible for creating our website and primary sales channel but will work closely with the founding team and a graphics designer. We welcome flexible work hours but highly value the collaboration that comes from working closely together in our Nordvest office.

About you:

Nationality, gender, and native tongue don't matter. What matters is that you are independent and thrive in an environment where you define your own daily tasks in order to reach project milestones. You are a social person and like to participate in gatherings once in a while.
