LegalHero is on a mission to democratize SMB's access to fair, transparent and simple legal services. Leveraging technology, LegalHero enables businesses and lawyers to work together in a simpler and more effective way. Further, LegalHero provides a range of self-help tools and a membership, granting access to a wide variety of services, including a legal hotline, legal templates, and a platform to handle all things legal.

What you will be doing:

• Backend development on the core Ruby on Rails application, working closely with the Product Owner, Kristian.

• Run development sprints and take the current application to the next level.

• Get things done in a timely matter with a large degree of entrusted autonomy.

• Build new features and functionalities in cooperation with the product owner and frontend developers.

• Building a scalable application that can work cross border with different languages.

What we are looking for:

• Has 3+ experience working with Ruby on Rails.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Heroku and Git.

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js and Bootstrap.

• Has both frontend and backend experience.

• Has experience being lead architect or lead developer.

• Has a holistic view of the company’s objectives and always keeps the task on track.

• Experience writing tests to ensure a robust and solid application.

• Has experience working with continous deployment and integration.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Startup experience either as early team member or founder.

• Experience and confidence working with frontend and keeping it simple, using Bootstrap.
