Comeat is an international dinner club, that connects a community of internationals and locals to meet over dinner at home. Our ambition is to make it easy for people to expand their network and make friends in our cities. We believe that sharing a meal is a perfect shortcut for this, as food and drinks stimulates great conversation. We are seeking a Social Media & Community Manager to join our team and help us create content, grow and successfully activate our online communities, motivating people to take part in the Comeat community discussions and visit and host dinners more often. You are mainly to be working with our CEO Sofie, who will help and give input on content, but you will be responsible for the communities growing and being active. The work will mostly take place from our office at Symbion (KBH Ø), but we expect participation in Comeat events as well, which take place outside normal office hours. They are always super fun, so this is the most fun part of the job. With our part time team members we coordinate virtually on Slack and Skype. 

Who are we looking for?

• Our new intern is an ambitious person with a high drive, who likes the challenge of reining in chaos, as much as enjoy proactively and methodically executing tasks.

• You educational background is not that important for us, nevertheless, if it is connected with communication, marketing, psychology etc. we will consider it as a great advantage. 

• Your friends may describe you as a positive, outgoing and talkative person.

• You have excellent communication skills in both English and Danish. As you are going to coordinate both locals and expats, it is significant to be able to communicate with them in the most comfortable way. Demonstrated communication and presentation skills is a plus.

• You live in Copenhagen or nearby.

• You love social media and especially Facebook and know how to communicate and engage on various social media platforms and love spreading good vibes online.

• You really enjoy engaging with people and can prove excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills.

• You have patience and positivity to deal with sometimes difficult customers who need extra help :)

• In order to get this position, you most importantly need to be in love with the concept of Comeat.

Job responsibilities:

• Growing the Comeat community

• Create content and moderate our Facebook group Comeat - Copenhagen, and help activating the engagement of group members.

• Interaction with our users via Facebook chats, our website support chat and events, e-mails and phone calls/SMS.

• Help with dinner coordination between our hosts and guests.

• You will have a lot of influence on what can be covered by your role, so if you have specific interest areas, we can surely include these in your work. 

Requirements:

• The position is full time, and you will be expected to show up at our office

• Participate in our weekly Skype team calls Wednesdays at 18:30

• Participate in Comeat dinners 2 times per month - this is so that you know what the dinners are like, and so that you will be better in getting people to participate.

• As everyone is equal and contributes in the company, we expect from you to take initiative in each situation you believe you may fulfil yourself.
