Position summary

Following our global expansion, we are seeking a talented Information Security Analyst to join our growing team. You will be responsible for first line of cyber-defense, i.e. incident detection, threat hunting and escalation of security incidents. You will also be involved and responsible to define and implement the incident response and event management processes. You will be working closely with the VP Information Security. 

The position can be based in Oslo (preferred), Stockholm, London or Bucharest.

What you will be doing

• Implement advanced network threat protection tools like web application firewalls and DoS protection.
• Assist with the design of cloud security strategy and processes.
• Manage and tune IDS and IPS systems as well as manage and tune the SIEM solutions (e.g. security log collection, correlation, monitoring, alerting and archival).
• Enhance security log monitoring and incident response based on threat intelligence.
• Liaise with business/data owners to identify new applications/servers/services and take action on the security monitoring needs.
• Assist in researching security issues, 0-day attacks and vulnerabilities and define remediation plans.

Moreover, we would like to see evidence of the following in your profile:

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science or a similar technical degree.
• 3+ years professional experience in an Information Security related role, preferable in monitoring & incident response area.
• Knowledge of security considerations around virtualization and cloud applications.
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), IDS/IPS products.
• Practical skills and experience identifying and defending against common attacks.
• Ability to discuss Information Security risks at a detailed technical level.
• Extracting data from many sources and aggregate it into more useful information through creative thinking and innovative solutions.
• Fluent English and good communication skills.
• Ability to independently perform assignments to a high standard with a minimum amount of supervision.
