This process is often confusing, paper-based, and time-consuming—especially for small, volunteer-run associations. At the same time, banks are struggling to comply with increasingly strict regulations without overloading internal teams or alienating nonprofit customers. 2. How are we solving it? Unioo provides a secure, plug-and-play digital platform where associations can easily complete their mandatory bank reporting. At the same time, they gain access to a suite of free digital board tools—meeting management, task tracking, file sharing and more. Banks receive fully compliant data packages with no internal resource strain. Associations stay compliant while benefiting from better tools for managing their boards. 3. Why are we doing this? We started Unioo as volunteers ourselves. We saw how much time was wasted on outdated processes, and how legal changes (like AML) were turning volunteer work into a bureaucratic burden. True Energy offers a smart charging app to our end users so they can register their car or charger and have it start or stop charging based on the hour of day and the electricity price, so the user optimizes their charging to be cheapest. The service is free of charge for the end user because they participate in our flexibility pool where the power companies can buy offsetting of the consumption if the grid is overloaded or production is expensive. We use Google Workspace, GitLab as code repo, Jira for our agile project management, and Slack for chat. We have a policy of 100% line coverage for unit tests, and want to support continuous delivery. We focus on collaboration and an open, inclusive work environment. Our team is multinational, and the working language is English, so full proficiency is required.. We have team members in several time zones.
