1 of 3 couples feel distressed in their relationship, facing difficulties such as conflict, communication issues and emotional distance. Still, most couples never seek help, in fact - only 1 of 4 married couples seek professional help before divorce. This is often due to the high cost and stigma associated with traditional couples therapy. Ally is an evidence-based relationship app that guides the couple through exercises and analysis rooted in couples therapy. Find out your strengths and challenges as a couple, solve relationship issues and build healthy relationship habits. We make it easy, affordable and exciting to stay in love. We are a small, tight team of 7 people with mixed backgrounds in psychology, product development, tech, design, business development and marketing. We are based in Sweden, Gothenburg and Stockholm. We are Finnish company that wants to create better world through innovative thinking and modern technology. Well known fact is that nations globally face huge challenges with aging population. We worry about this - a lot. Our desire is to build user-friendly solutions with life based design that help people live independently. We want to have an impact to the society not only by developing new tools but also by creating discourses that value seniors life. Multigenerational living that has been a tradition in countries such as Japan and Mediterranean countries is now much less common. A number of nations are experiencing a dramatic increase in the number of seniors living alone including Nordic countries. Challenge involves not only seniors but also family members. Adult children are facing unique pressures to care for their aging parent as well as their own family and children. This is a group of people generally aged thirty to sixty that are actively caring for generations both younger and older than their own, with the older generation sometimes living a far distance away. Our solution gives easy access to everyday communication between family members. Communication is both active and passive. Active videocalls and shared calendar support every day activities and increases users sense of belonging and personal autonomy. Passive sensor data creates trends and gives family members better understanding of activities of daily living. Our solution is a consumer product and designed for seniors use.

We have the backbone and development team in place (and the funding for this), however, our need is funding and expertise in marketing specifically to help get the word out, whilst avoiding the traditional pitfalls and errors that plague start-ups.

Discounty owns the software FreeQuenter which enable merchants operating in food and drink industry to create sophisticated loyalty programs for their customers in the simplest way possible. Caudex

Caudex is developing an app that will solve the problem with second hand textbooks not being forwarded or sold. Buying second hand textbooks for your next subject should be as easy as just searching for the subject-code or sending a message to students that have previously taken the subject. Solving this problem will contribute to the circular economy in addition it will also result in reducing our carbon footprint as we’re using more second hand material. We’ll mainly focus on existing students, but our platform will also be hugely resourceful for pre- and post students.

Bookalista is on a mission to build the next-generation marketplace, dedicated to simplifying the buying and selling of preowned books. We envision a future where buying and selling used books is not only as common as buying new, but actually the preferred choice. Every year, countless books are published, yet many find themselves idle after just a few reads. We believe these precious resources should be enjoyed by more readers. The current methods for selling used books, however, are overly complex for many. At Bookalista, we're redefining the buying and selling process of used books, making it as easy as shopping on any other online store. Our platform eliminates the need for improvised buying systems, arranging meeting places and times, or dealing with the dilemma of "who sends/pays first." We handle all transactions, ensuring sellers receive their payment promptly once the book is in the hands of its new reader. Listing a book for sale on Bookalista is a snap, taking just 10 seconds. We, the Bookalista team, are driven by our love for books and our faith in the power of technology to enhance reading. Our aim is to ensure that captivating books are readily available to those keen to delve deeper and learn more.

Hjælp Til Pårørende ApS

Hjælp Til Pårørende blev stiftet i 2018 af Anika & Henrik, der begge to har oplevet, hvor hårdt det er at være pårørende. I dag har virksomheden eget kontor i Århus C på 140 kvm, en professionel bestyrelse med Stine Bosse som formand, og har lukket den første store investering. Vores team er ungt og frisk, så hverdagen er præget af høj energi, godt humør og mange sociale stunder, mens vi målrettet og ambitiøst arbejder hårdt for at forbedre livet for pårørende. Hvorfor pårørende? Pårørende er en kendt, og dokumenteret højrisikogruppe, der udgør 38% af den danske befolkning. Hver fjerde bliver selv syg som direkte konsekvens. Langt de fleste pårørende er hårdt pressede, og mange har hverken tid eller mulighed for at møde fysisk op, eller at modtage behandling indenfor de normale arbejdstider. I stedet søger de hjælp på nettet, som er det eneste tilgængelige på de skæve tidspunkter– og her møder de korte generiske skriv om, at de skal passe på sig selv. Tilbage står den pårørende, magtesløs med spørgsmålet ”Hvordan!?”. Med vores App kan den pårørende få faglig relevant hjælp og støtte på alle tider af døgnet uden ventetid – med handlingsorienterede løsninger og værktøjer, der guider dem til hvordan de håndtere den givne situation. De er uafhængige af deres fysiske placering, og oplever at få den hjælp de har brug for, når de har brug den. Vi har brugt flere år på at analysere og kortlægge, hvad pårørende mangler for at undgå sygemeldinger og tidlig afgang fra arbejdsmarkedet. Hver fjerde pårørende bliver selv syg med stress eller depression som direkte konsekvens af deres rolle som pårørende. Pårørende har brug for psykologisk førstehjælp med høj kvalitet og tilgængelighed - tidligt! Det handler i høj grad om, at vi griber individerne med den rigtige hjælp inden det bliver kritisk. Derfor har vi skabt ét samlet univers, hvor pårørende får al den hjælp de har brug.

Healthcare in Sweden is not great. Why is that? Research, innovation, and breakthroughs happen in healthcare every day and we have so many smart people working in our hospitals and primary care. Why are the results lacking? We see the main reason is that the healthcare system we use today is still 20-30 years behind what is possible today. Yet, a large majority of the childcare centers, nurseries, and preschools continue to plough through mountains of paperwork and rely on outdated tools like spreadsheets, emails, and text messages for their routine operations. Even parents often have to jump through hoops to get the information they need from the educators. All this time, which is wasted on obsolete systems, could instead be directed towards the education and development of children.
