The service is free of charge for the end user because they participate in our flexibility pool where the power companies can buy offsetting of the consumption if the grid is overloaded or production is expensive. RobSub is developing a robotic solution that will revolutionize the maintenance and repair of utility pipes. The solution is based on a UR16e robot arm, for which end-of-arm tools are being developed. RobSub collaborates with industrial partners such as HOFOR, VandCenter Syd, and Aarhus Vand. The team consists of three permanent employees and two student assistants, all with engineering backgrounds as well as commercial and technical profiles.
