It gives women better health, finances, and makes a big difference to the environment. Not to mention the enormous freedom a menstrual cup gives you for 12 hours in comparison to a tampon that can sit for 5 hours. A very important part of our work is to help girls in developing countries stay in school. Many people do not know that girls are forced to stay at home because of the lack of safe menstrual protection around the world, and our work in that area is extremely important. So far, we have ensured that over 10,000 girls do not stay at home because of something as natural as menses. We strive to do good and at the same time do good business. For quality and product safety reasons we have our manufacturing in Sweden, which gives us excellent control of the whole process, and still have a good profit margin.

We do this by anonymously and automatically matching people based on their skills, experience and passions. Think of it as a bit like Tinder for people starting purpose/ impact-driven businesses. We believe the only way to reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals is by collaborating. We have launched an MVP and have people registered in 15 different countries.

Battkomp designs, produces, and repairs li-ion batteries in the 0.5 to 10 kWh range for mobility applications. We source the best cells from our partners, and cover the module assembly, housing, and battery management part of the value chain. We have design, manufacturing, and maintenance in-house. We want to run the whole business from Norway, betting on automation instead of cheap labour, quality over quantity, reliability over price, local over foreign. We work with Oslo Kommune, Hesselberg Truck AS, Bolt, Buddy Bikes, and various other companies. We are looking to start a large research project in co-operation with UiO in the near future. Hosts set their own price and we take a small commission fee. Users can easily find, book and pay for the unique and never before explored places to go for the night.
