Tassuvahti is a growing pet sitting business, currently operating in entire capital region and Tampere. Tassuvahti connects pet owners with pet sitters. We have currently about 70 insured freelancers and employees in Finland, and we provide dog walkings, overnight care / boarding services and home visits for cats and smaller pets. Tassuvahti's HQ consists of 2 founders (ceo and cto) + 2 office employees.

We worked together in Microsoft and often discussed how to address daily tasks through the use of new technologies. Like many others we too forgot parent events and showed up for footballmatches at the wrong times. We needed a better solution, and we built Truegroups so that parents, without any real effort, can have full overview to their family’s activities in less than 30 seconds. Populic is a map platform where users can share photos and videos. It’s basically a location-based social network where every content will be ranked by other users.Only the top 10 most liked photos per map view are shown. This keeps the map interesting. The locations of the pics are very accurate. This makes the content more authentic.We launched our alpha version 3 weeks ago and we have now 1 thousand test users. In launch week Populic was #1 trending App in Finland’s App Store among teenagers.
