Helsinki Think Company is the Entrepreneurship Society of the University of Helsinki, with a mission to bring academics to action. BunkerTrust is an open rating platform on which buyers of marine fuel (called "bunkers") can rate the suppliers and the vessels supplying the receiving vessels. The bunker industry has always been very un-transparent which means that the suppliers and the supply vessels could cheat without being penalised. We are working hard to make this industry more transparent, to the benefit of the shipowners who are buying the bunkers, and to the benefit of the suppliers who are not cheating.   Hi, my name is Daniel. I was born and bred into shipping as my father started a shipping company more than 35 years ago. Now, my brother and I have taken over the shipping company and I am in charge of the daily operation. I have always been very interested in new technology and I am a keen advocate of disruption in shipping as this is a very traditional industry.  Most shipowners in this very traditional industry are struggling with their marine fuel deliveries, as it is very easy for the suppliers and delivery vessels to cheat without being penalised. Therefore I decided to start BunkerTrust, which basically increases the transparency in the industry by letting the shipowners rate the performance of the suppliers and delivery vessels (much like Trustpilot).  I am very passionate about this project and working hard with my team of developers to make it fly. Besides being a keen entrepreneur I am the father of two boys and married to my lovely wife, presently residing in Roskilde (about 20 mins by train from Copenhagen.)

At Cellugy, we’re passionate about creating innovative solutions for one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century: plastic pollution. Swapfiets started in the classic start-up way.
