Our Danish co-founder, Anders Ojgaard, has 18 years experience with both start-ups and consulting for some of Denmark's biggest companies and is a well-known figure on the urban design scene in Denmark. He has years of experience working with application design — and equally with urban architecture and communications. He recently left a position as the head of an internet project that had one of Denmark's largest corporations as its investor. Our backend developer has 10+ years of experience and works with a big stack. Significant experience with system architecture, PHP, JavaScript, server setups etc. Now building experience with Python and Swift. We have a product concept, a design and a prototype. We are currently building a MVP, which is going through alpha-testing at the time of writing, summer 2021. Expected launch in August/September. We are too early-stage for funding. We have, however, had an unusual degree of interest — including from both European VCs and one in the US. The aim now is to launch the MVP in a controlled environment (single city), presumably Copenhagen. Once we have built up an initial user-base, we will go back to the investors that have asked to be contacted at this stage. We are currently also laying the ground for collaborations with the biggest cities in Denmark, and have had one top-level meeting about a future partnership. We are currently interested in talking to 1-2 potential co-founders that want to come in at this early stage. At least one of these should be an experienced developer (PHP/Python/Elastic Stack). The other should be a person with relevant experience from start-ups and business development, ideally working with govtech / proptech OR it could be a UI/UX designer with experience with both mobile app design and web app design. Academy of Brain is an online training company that offers learning platform (Studytube) and content for developing Soft Skills. The Academy of Brain online trainings include videos, exercises, surveys, and text content. Our customers are Finnish based companies, universities and government organizations. At the moment we are a group of seven people and in the next 12 months that will doubled. Our workdays consist of laughing, hard working and bad jokes ;)

The short story: We're a Norwegian contech startup and we're prefabricating rebar cages with robotics. The long story: Rebartek was founded in 03/2018. In our first year, we have grown our team to 10 members with a wide range of backgrounds from different industries. We are developing a ground-breaking solution for the construction industry. Our robots manufacture steel reinforcement cages that are used in concrete structures. We are developing a highly automated service that starts at the design of the cages and ends with the delivery of the cages to the construction site. Today almost all rebar welding and tying is done manually by humans. This is dangerous, time-consuming and physically brutal work. We want to provide an optimized solution for manufacturing rebar, with an added bonus of tailored models and a streamlined administrative workflow.  Our philosophy is to take a lot of small steps quickly.
