The alternative today if you do not own a garden yourself is to sign up for allotment garden through the municipality. Der er i dagens Danmark brug for nye lystbetonede fællesskaber, som både kommer de ældre, civilsamfund og plejepersonale til gode. Vigtigst skal de ældre ikke sidde dag ud og dag ind alene derhjemme eller på plejehjemmet. Derfor sørger hundredvis af danskere gennem Cykling uden alder for at ældre atter bliver en synlig del af samfundet på de røde rickshaws. Cykelpiloterne hos Cykling uden alder får ikke penge for at invitere de ældre med som passagerer. De bliver heller ikke tvunget til at køre med nogle bestemte. De får ikke besked på at løse en velfærdsopgave eller være en ressource i et presset system. De cykler, fordi det giver så god mening for alle.
