At the same time, the insurance industry lacks digitisation with only 40% of all insurance sales taking place on a digital platform. We have developed travel insurance tailored to the specific needs of each traveller, all within a convenient and user-friendly app. By harnessing the power of GEO-fencing we ensure travellers receive seamless coverage when and where they need it, offering a level of flexibility unseen in the industry. We have built the insurance product, and we are going to build the app. Simen started working on Kvikk while studying Innovation & Management, and has previously been travelling around the world several times and do understand the importance of travel insurance. We honestly believe that insurance companies should do better. In this digital world, insurance should be more available for the customer. There should be possible to buy insurance, get an overview and file claims within minutes, and always available in your own pocket. We also believe in fair and transparent products, where the customer actually gets a personalised products tailored to their own travel pattern. Versiro develops software that accelerates the energy transition. Renewable electricity is great for the environment but difficult to plan because its production depends on uncertain weather conditions. Versiro develops an AI copilot that helps renewable producers make smart decisions in real time while considering these uncertainties. This assists the integration of renewable energy and increases its profitability, two key factors to enable the green energy transition. Versiro was founded by researchers at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and follows the observation that, in electric power systems, the traditional pipelines from research to industry are too outdated to keep up with the fast-paced world of machine learning.

We participate in entrepreneurship networks across Norway, Europe, and internationally and aim to strengthen ties, stimulate the local community, and boost business development in and around the region of Trondheim. The idea of creating DIGS started with three enthusiastic people who wanted to make space for innovation in Trondheim. We have now published the first version of the website Devent for Agility. The idea is to have a website where you can find agility-related information in the form of a meeting overview (list or calendar), results, annual overviews, and statistics for dog/organizer/judge (graphs are best viewed on a PC or landline phone). You manage which dogs you want to see statistics for easily on "my page". The system also has modules for setting up and running your own events and supports e.g. 5 size classes if desired. Many professions in Finland are regulated and those who have been qualified abroad for a profession that is regulated in Finland will need to apply to the relevant authority for a decision on whether or not they are also qualified for the same profession in Finland. Several international professionals living in Finland are either unemployed, underemployed, or working outside the scope of their expertise. This has a negative impact on Finland’s economy as these professionals are unable to use their skills to contribute to the Finnish society. Consequently, the Finnish economy is unable to benefit symbiotically from international talent already living in Finland. Through a diverse range of programs and services, we assist international professionals qualified for a profession abroad to overcome obstacles hindering them from utilizing their skills in Finland. We provide customised support as well as mentorship and networking opportunities. We also offer one-on-one guidance as they take huge career steps toward transitioning into the Finnish workforce and advancing their skillset to contribute to the society they now call home.
