Postly lets anyone in Denmark send a physical letter online – no printer, stamps or trip to a post office. You upload a PDF or type the text, enter sender and recipient, and pay with MobilePay or card. We print, envelope and hand the letter to dao for delivery, the same weekday if paid before noon. No account needed.
The problem: After PostNord stopped delivering letters in Denmark, sending a letter got harder – yet physical and registered letters are still required or strongly recommended whenever something has legal consequences: terminating a lease, payment demands to tenants, complaints, parking-fine appeals, estate matters and notices for general assemblies. Most people no longer own a printer or stamps, and they need proof that the letter was sent and received.
Our solution: One simple, fixed price covering print, envelope and postage – DKK 69 for a regular letter and DKK 289 for a registered letter (incl. VAT, up to 5 pages). Registered letters come with dao’s delivery receipt plus a Postly dispatch statement linking the receipt to the order, so the user has documentation when deadlines matter. Documents are encrypted, stored in the EU and automatically deleted 7 days after sending.
Beyond consumers, we serve businesses that send letters as part of their workflow: landlords and property managers, lawyers, debt collectors and associations. With Postly Connect (API and MCP), software and AI agents can send physical letters programmatically. Our ambition is to become the infrastructure layer for legally important mail in Denmark – physical today, and digital as rules for secure digital delivery evolve.
Why: Important letters should be as easy to send as an email, without losing the legal certainty of documented delivery.
