Moonwalk designs startup challenges organised as programs. Alone or together with a strategic or financial partner. A program creates startups and runs for two semesters with paying participants. Then the program is incorporated. With participants as sweat equity part owners of the entire portfolio. An equity crowdfunding campaign decides how many startups are launched. Moonwalk is a 100 days startup hatcher and accelerator. No one should work here for any other reason than that they really want to. I had to figure out a way to fund and source the competence of people, but also fund their activity so that we can share in the outcome. No one had really given me any pointers on how to do that, so I had to find a new model of crowdfunding, crowdsourcing and shared ownership. Me and my colleague Victor developed that over the course of two years. He was a previous customer and the most talented person I know in the areas of value-chains and complexity. I asked him to join me and he said yes. We are in this together.

The collar uses embedded advanced motion algorithm to track all cat’s activities, understand needs and analyze behavioural patterns of the pet.   Today we developed a device that will help busy people from all over the world to take care about their cats, despite time, distances, lack of knowledge or other obstacles. The best thing about Moggie that we unite cat lovers across the world. It is exciting to be the first to learn about cat needs and lives in the way no one has done before. Plus, thanks to Moggie we will finally find answer to the most important question in the universe - what our cats are doing when no one watches them :)We are 5 co-founders and close to 15 people working on making Moggie a success. In the founding team we have two MBA graduates from TOP-5 European Business Schools, winner of international design awards, winner of hardware competitions and veterinarian with international experience.

Work balance is important to us, and our business is built on trust. Everything we do can be done from anywhere, but we like spending time together at the office. Sometimes we go to the cinema after work, and we arrange internal hackathons.
