Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship

The Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES) is an interdisciplinary convergence of academic universities in Medicine (Karolinska Institute), Technology (KTH), Economics (SSE), Design (Konstfack), and the Humanities (Stockholm University). We have been elevating minds, generating ventures, and inspiring new ways of thinking. Today, we are one of the most influential institutions for entrepreneurship education in the world.

Det er et oplysningsprojekt af iværksætter og foredragsholder Denis Rivin, der formidler og fremhæver håbefulde fremskridt inden for teknologi, videnskab og global udvikling. Ordspillet of course off course hentyder til, at vi har nået en historisk skillevej hvor der er nye og bedre måder at gøre tingene på, hvorfor vi selvfølgelig må skifte kurs.

Diffia

Diffia is a Norwegian health tech company that creates innovative solutions to help doctors and nurses improve patient care and safety. We are working towards introducing a lightweight application to give clinicians access to the patient data they need, when they need it. A mobile-first product made with the user in mind, integrated into clinical workflow, to help healthcare professionals provide more targeted care - reacting proactively rather than reactively to clinical developments.

Learnlink

Learnlink ble startet i 2016 og tok i løpet av kort tid posisjonen som landets ledende leverandør av online én-til-én-undervisning. I 2020 ble tilbudet utvidet med sommerkurs i koding etter sammenslåingen med CodeAndGo . I dag jobber vi med å ruste barn for fremtiden ved å lære de STEM-fag på en morsom og givende måte. Dette gjør vi både 1-til-1 og i grupper, både fysisk og online. Med på laget har vi det vi “Pros” - toppstudenter barna ser opp til som bidrar til å tenne lærelysten. Alle i Learnlinks kjerneteam har høye ambisjoner for veien videre og brenner for å hjelpe barn med å lære det de trenger for fremtiden. I tillegg til de faste ansatte bistår et knippe dyktige rådgivere og et erfarent styre med retning og strategi. Nå som vi ser at Learnlink-modellen virkelig har potensiale, er planen å øke veksttakten ytterligere i Norge og ta den videre i utlandet. ENGLISH Learnlink was founded in 2016 and quickly took the position as the country's leading provider of online one-on-one teaching. In 2020, the offer was expanded with a summer course in coding after the merge with CodeAndGo. Today we work to prepare children for the future by teaching them "STEM" subjects in a fun and motivating way. We do this both 1-to-1 and in groups, both physically and online. Everyone in Learnlink's core team has high ambitions and is passionate about helping children learn what they need for the future. Additionally, a number of skilled advisers and highly experienced board members assist with developing guidelines and strategy. Now that we see that the Learnlink models really has potential, the plan is to increase the growth rate even further in Norway and take it abroad. In other words, there are very exiting times ahead!

Time is of the essence. Yet no one has captured its potential as an metric to organize information and make it available when it’s relevant and actionable. Agendo does just that, it organizes information according to time and presents what you need when you need it, with real time updates and the ability to modify, share and book. No longer are your events contained in a random flurry of emails, texts, tweets etc. Instead, they are automatically organized, updated and accessible in one place.

Maindeck

Every year about 25,000 ships go through a dry-docking process, a process which today involves middlemen and where necessary information is contained in spreadsheets and pdfs.Maindeck is leveraging this process with modern web technology, moving the industry into the future.At Maindeck we are changing one of the oldest and most conservative industries in the world, all whilst having tons of fun.

Connected Senses

Increasing fitness through technology. A fitness based startup that is aiming to bring research-based concepts into everyday training. Mio Strength is a electronics based equipment developed to help trainers and physiotherapists to understand their clients' muscles better. It can be clipped to any muscle harnesses to present analyses instantly. This is developed in close collaboration with experienced researchers from The Swedish school of sport and health science (GIH).

DriveBack

DriveBack is an online crowdsourcing solution for car transportation. By offering free trips to our members (DriveBackers), we transport our customer’s vehicles in a smarter, faster and cheaper fashion. Today we help some of the biggest car rental companies and car dealers in Scandinavia to crowdsource their car transportations.

Foreningen IQ

En række af Roskilde-områdets virksomheder, uddannelsesinstitutioner, Universitetet, Sygehuset, Festivalen og Roskilde Kommune har etableret Foreningen IQ.Vores mål er at udnytte samarbejdets uforløste potentiale og skabe vækst vi er stolte af. Vi vil nedbrude barrierer og gøre innovation til en selvfølge - på tværs af virksomheder, videninstitutioner og offentlige. Og vi vil ikke bare tale om vores ideér. Vi vil skabe konkrete samarbejder og se dem vokse.

Optolexia

Optolexia offers a new method for early and reliable detection of dyslexia. We use eye tracking and machine learning to identify patterns that are unique in kids with characteristics of dyslexia. We started in Sweden, in schools and municipalities, and we are right now introducing our method in new, international markets such as France and Dubai. We are a team consisting of researchers, developers, teachers, and marketers. We are all experts in our specific fields and complement each other well. Everyone does what they do best, and therefore we base our work on trust. Our vision is clear: every child with reading and writing difficulties should get support from early on, and consequently have full access to the written word. We base our offering on science so evidence and research are important to us. We maintain a very informal tone at the office, and we offer flexible work hours and location. We need to approach our customers differently depending on the industry, but we aim to speak their language and understand their challenges. Our expertise and shared vision of making education accessible to everyone, with or without difficulties, are what define us.

46elks

We have an API for phone calls, messages, and MMS which allows any developer without any experience to use features in the mobile networks. The vision is fairly simple: technology should be accessible for every developer and every business no matter the size, and not be restricted to big companies.We are focusing on developers and geographically on Scandinavia but long term, we see our service on a global basis. We are a dedicated team and our culture is built on trust. Everybody can work where and how they want. We try to share the common burden of customer support, but other than that we have clear responsibilities and we trust everyone to do what they do best. At 46elks, we don’t have regular meetings as we often work from different places, which means we offer a lot of freedom. Customers are our first priority: we always try to answer quickly on emails and we are always available for a phone call. Our features are based on their feedback and we listen carefully to them to know what to do next. We have two core values at 46elks: stability and honesty. The service should always work, and we tell our customers if we have a technical problem. Simple as that. And just to mention a little bonus: every team member gets their own Raspberry Pi on their first day!

Low-Fi ApS

At Low-Fi we want more music to be played and artist to get paid - to support this mission we have created a platform and grow a community around it for: artists , concert hosts and guests. Here they can meet and co-create (very analogue) concerts in unconventional spaces. In a changing music industry, where money is no longer made in the recording studio, but at live gigs, we support a present music scene with a fair and transparent economy. Joining Low-Fi you will be a part of something bigger than yourself. You will become a full member of a global DIY live music scene, where the close proximity between artist and audience creates a special atmosphere that allows everyone to drop their guard and create meaningful connections with the music and each other.
