UTRY

Imagine a world where the 'Size Chart', a relic of the 20th century, no longer exists. At UTRY, we are building a universal ecosystem for personalized digital fashion. Born at Aalborg University, our mission is to ensure the digital store adapts to the individual’s unique body, rather than forcing people to fit into static categories. We aren't just building a tool for brands; we are building an interactive, personalized experience for every shopper, where getting the perfect fit becomes the new global standard. We are tackling a massive, dual-sided problem. For the consumer, online shopping is a guessing game that leads to frustration and "fit-anxiety." For brands, this uncertainty results in 8,7 billion returned packages every year, where 53% of returns are due to poor fit. This cycle produces 24 million tons of CO2 annually, because costumers has to guess which size fits them. We saw this gap and realized that the industry doesn't need more complex 3D software; it needs a frictionless bridge between the buyer and the product. Our solution is built on smart synergy. Currently, we have launched our Virtual Try-On (VTO), which leverages generative AI to give shoppers a photorealistic view of garments on their own bodies. This provides the immediate visual confidence shoppers crave. Following closely behind is our Size Algorithm, designed to provide technical fit data to ensure the physical fit matches the visual one. By combining these into a single "UTRY ID," we are creating a cross-brand network where a user sets up their profile once and shops at every brand using UTRY with confidence. UTRY started because we did not fit into the standard size chart and had to order several sizes to find the correct size ourselves. As students at Aalborg University, we didn't just want to study the problem; we teamed up with a dedicated full-time crew to solve it. We are doing this because we believe that when you give consumers a personalized, engaging experience, the business value, higher conversions and lower returns, follows naturally. We are here to prove that what is best for the person is also what is best for the planet and the companies.

Tech Nordic Advocates

Tech Nordic Advocates is Northern Europe’s largest and only pan-Nordic/Baltic tech startup organisation. We’re a not-for-profit community that brings entrepreneurs, investors, corporates and experts together to fuel innovation, collaboration and growth across the region and internationally. We’re part of Global Tech Advocates, a worldwide tech community of 48 hubs, across 60 countries and 30,000 tech leaders – helping to connect our ecosystem to the world.

Silicon Valhalla

Silicon Valhalla is a Nordic tech intelligence hub that maps startups, founders, investors, and market signals across the Nordic region, with a particular emphasis on AI, SaaS, and frontier innovation. It exists to make the “Silicon Valhalla” ecosystem - Nordic tech’s answer to Silicon Valley - more visible, navigable, and investable for founders, operators, and capital. The platform combines a curated startup directory, an events calendar, and ecosystem insights into a single, neutral entry point for Nordic tech. Startups and scaleups get structured profiles highlighting what they do, where they are based, which sector they play in, and how to reach them, while investors and partners can quickly scan emerging companies across AI, climate, fintech, deep tech, and more. A continuously updated view of companies and activity aims to surface momentum early, so users can spot new categories, breakout teams, and upcoming fundraising stories before they hit the mainstream. Silicon Valhalla is designed to be independent and ecosystem-first rather than a job board or paywalled database. The service is currently free to use, making discovery accessible while opening the door for future premium offerings such as featured profiles, highlighted events, and deeper signal products for investors and corporates. In short, Silicon Valhalla is building the default map and narrative for Nordic tech: a living overview of the startups, talent, and ideas turning the region into one of the most dynamic innovation hubs in Europe.

Cadran

We are an early-stage company developing retail software for the global watch and jewellery industry. Our customers work with high-value objects, but often rely on generic systems not designed for their industry. We develop a specialized platform for operations and documentation that improves efficiency and transparency without compromising quality.

GEIST

1. The Elevator Pitch GEIST is developing next-generation sailing apparel for recreational and lifestyle sailors who want protection and freedom on the water—without the bulk, stiffness, or elitist aesthetics of traditional sailing gear. By combining high-performance materials, real-world testing, and community-driven design, GEIST delivers technical sailing wear that enhances the experience instead of getting in the way. 2. The What: What are you solving? Sailing apparel today is largely designed for professional racers or extreme offshore conditions—resulting in garments that are heavy, rigid, over-engineered, and visually disconnected from how most people actually sail. This creates a gap for: - Recreational sailors - Lifestyle / adventure sailors - Coastal and day sailors who want reliable protection from wind, spray, and weather, but also comfort, mobility, and a modern aesthetic they enjoy wearing. As a result, many sailors compromise—either wearing gear that limits movement and comfort, or using outdoor apparel not built for marine conditions. This problem affects a broad and growing segment of sailors globally, especially as sailing increasingly overlaps with outdoor lifestyle, travel, and community-driven experiences. 3. How GEIST is solving it GEIST designs sailing apparel from the experience outward. We start by deeply understanding how our users move, layer, vent heat, and interact with their gear during real sailing scenarios—not idealized ones. From there, we: - Develop function-led designs focused on mobility, breathability, and smart protection - Use premium 3-layer performance fabrics and components chosen for durability, comfort, and sustainability - Prototype early and test continuously with sailors in real conditions - Co-create features, fit, and details with our community rather than designing in isolation Our first products—a sailing jacket and trousers—are built to be worn actively on the water and comfortably before and after, bridging performance and lifestyle without compromise. 4. Why GEIST exists GEIST started from lived frustration. As a sailor and outdoor enthusiast, I repeatedly experienced how traditional sailing gear interrupted the very thing it was supposed to support—the feeling of being present, capable, and free on the water. Gear was either too stiff, too bulky, too aggressive, or simply not designed for how most people sail today. I realized this wasn’t a niche problem—it was systemic. And it wasn’t being solved because the industry hadn’t truly shifted its perspective. GEIST exists to reimagine sailing apparel from the standpoint of experience, movement, and modern sailing culture. It’s about stripping away unnecessary complexity and designing gear that supports focus, confidence, and enjoyment—so when the wind hits, the world narrows, and the gear disappears.

Forma Engine

We are developing a system intended to replace fixed interfaces with software that adapts in real time. Current products still depend on predefined UI paths that fail when underlying models behave in new ways. This gap limits how far teams can push advanced automation. The platform is being designed as a runtime that can generate interface elements dynamically. It aims to let products reorganize themselves around model output and user context without manual UI wiring. The goal is to enable applications that won’t rely on static interaction surfaces once the system is fully realized.

Bokit.ai

Bokit.ai is an AI-driven, conversational booking and qualification platform. It replaces traditional multi-step forms with intelligent, adaptive flows that guide users, answer questions (RAG), ensure correct service selection, and complete bookings with verified data such as BankID. Designed for industries where misbookings are expensive and qualification is essential.

ProV International

ProV is a global IT consulting and services company specializing in ERP implementation (IFS, SAP, ServiceNow), managed services, and data engineering solutions powered by platforms like Snowflake and Databricks. We help organizations modernize legacy systems, optimize business processes, and manage their IT operations with scalable, cost-efficient service models. With teams across the US, Europe, India and LATAM, ProV delivers end-to-end digital transformation, from strategy and implementation to ongoing support.

SGC - Arena

✅ 1: Short description (the pitch) SGC Arena is developing a combined TCG retail store, gaming lounge and community-driven event center to help youth, families and adult gamers find a safe, engaging and social space to play, compete and belong. We solve the lack of modern, inclusive gaming- and hobby environments by offering a 655 m² hybrid hub built around TCG, esport, community events and structured activities, powered by strong partnerships, low inventory risk and a highly scalable franchise-ready model. ✅ 2: The What – The problem we are solving Across Denmark, young people and adult hobby enthusiasts lack safe, structured and inspiring spaces to gather around gaming, TCG and shared interests. Most environments are either too small, too informal or lacking supervision, creating a gap between commercial gaming cafés and traditional youth facilities. At the same time, parents struggle to find positive, healthy gaming communities for their children, while hobby players (Pokémon, Magic, Lorcana) lack dedicated spaces for trading, events and tournaments. This problem affects: Children and teens seeking social belonging Adults looking for hobby communities Parents who want structured and safe gaming spaces TCG players who currently lack large-scale physical hubs Municipalities who need modern, engaging offers for youth Retail customers who want combined experiences, not just shops The demand is widespread and growing. TCG, gaming and event-based hobby retail are among the fastest-growing entertainment segments in Europe. Yet Denmark remains underserved with almost no large-scale hybrid centers combining retail, gaming, community and structured activities. SGC Arena fills this gap. ✅ 3: The How – How we solve it SGC Arena provides a 655 m² multi-zone environment combining: A full-service TCG retail store (Pokémon, Magic, Lorcana etc.) A high-end gaming lounge with esport setups A large event area for tournaments, competitions and community gatherings A social “hobby lounge” for trading, crafting and relaxed gaming A forening-driven model with daily structured activities Weekend programs with 500–1.000 visitors Consignationsaftaler reducing inventory risk dramatically A scalable operations manual and franchise blueprint for expansion to 3–8 locations Each weekday features structured activities through our association: Esport teams (20 participants daily) Hobby/TCG clubs (up to 40 per session) Weekends host large-scale TCG events, family activities, adult gaming evenings and trading meetups — creating predictable, high-volume traffic. The concept is built to scale: simple operational procedures, strong supplier partnerships, low-risk inventory, and a community-first structure that can be replicated nationally. ✅ 4: The Why – Our motivation SGC Arena is founded by Heinrich Dam Jensen, former owner of the esports organization Dream Gaming in Rødovre Centrum, where he built a strong and healthy gaming community in 2020. When COVID forced that project to close, it sparked a deep understanding of what young people and hobby-focused adults truly need: a safe, structured, social and modern environment that supports healthy gaming behavior and real-world connections. The vision has grown stronger since. Heinrich has a background in police, defence, leadership and youth work, and has seen firsthand how powerful gaming and structured hobbies can be when given the right environment. This is the foundation of SGC Arena: creating Denmark’s leading chain of gaming- and TCG-based community hubs. The motivation is simple: to give youth, families and adult hobbyists a place to belong — and to build a scalable, commercially strong concept that brings community and business together.

Edgy Systems AB

Edgy Systems AB – Making Energy Systems Work Together Overview Edgy Systems AB is building a hardware-agnostic monitoring and management platform for distributed energy assets such as solar panels, batteries, heat pumps, and HVAC systems. The platform provides a unified interface that allows installers, service companies, and multi-tenant building owners to monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of their installations, regardless of manufacturer or protocol. By integrating all assets into a single ecosystem, Edgy Systems helps installers save valuable technician hours each week, prevents asset downtime, and builds trust with customers through transparency and actionable insights. The Problem The transition to electrified and distributed energy systems is accelerating, but the digital management layer has not kept pace. Today, both installers and property owners face major inefficiencies: For Installers: - They must use multiple OEM portals to monitor the assets they install, one for heat pumps, another for solar panels, batteries, EV chargers, and so on. Switching between these platforms wastes several technician hours every week and complicates workflow management. - Lack of central alerts: Installers often fail to notice when a system is underperforming or has an active alarm because there is no unified feedback mechanism. - Scaling limitations: The installation business is inherently resource-intensive. Growth depends on the speed and efficiency of teams, which are limited by manual coordination and fragmented digital tools. - Customer dissatisfaction: Since installers cannot easily share transparent performance data, their customers (typically tenant-owners’ associations or small industries ) may lose trust or perceive the investment as opaque. For Tenant-owners’ Associations and Industrial Users: - They often lack visibility into performance metrics of their solar, HVAC, or storage systems. Reports, when available, arrive monthly or yearly. - There is rarely a clear cost-benefit analysis that shows whether their energy investment delivers expected savings. - They want to optimize energy use and manage assets efficiently but struggle to find service providers capable of analyzing heterogeneous setups. - Tenants or residents don’t see real-time results, which reduces engagement and the perceived value of sustainability initiatives. The Solution - Edgy Systems offers an open, AI-assisted platform that connects all energy assets into a single dashboard. - Unified monitoring: A single pane of glass for all assets, independent of vendor or protocol. - Automated alarms and reports: Intelligent notifications ensure no downtime goes unnoticed. - AI-powered integration: Machine learning helps create and validate data connectors faster, reducing the engineering effort required to add new device types. - Transparency for customers: Real-time dashboards and cost-performance analytics increase trust and demonstrate tangible results. - Scalability for installers: By centralizing monitoring and automating reporting, installers can manage more installations with fewer resources. Why It Matters The energy industry is becoming decentralized, but the tools used to manage installations remain siloed and inefficient. Installers lose time and revenue potential, while customers cannot verify the value of their investment. Edgy Systems bridges this gap by providing the digital backbone for the modern energy ecosystem. Tapp

Tapp is developing a software-only POS suite—tap-on-phone payments, eshop self-order, Native AI data platforms, and AI-assisted menu/setup - to help small UK service businesses ditch expensive hardware POS, solve slow service and rising operating costs, and stay compliant by default, powered by our ultra-fast UX, AI onboarding, leading AI features, and embedded payments. Independent cafés, massage parlors, and any other service spots are squeezed by hardware terminals, clunky back-office flows, and staffing shortages—which translates to slower turnover, longer queues, and lost revenue. Operators also face VAT/receipt/tips complexity and card-data obligations that traditional POS doesn’t simplify. The market is crowded, but legacy and “one-size-fits-all” tools still mean slow UI, multi-minute setup, and rigid pricing. Our analysis of UK-relevant providers shows many still require dedicated hardware or fragmented QR solutions—creating cost, training, and integration friction for small teams. Whilst providing insights on all the data collected, without the user having to ask. Tapp replaces boxes and paper with a phone-first POS: - Tap-to-Pay on iPhone & Android: take contactless cards/Wallets directly on staff or owner smartphones—no reader required. Fully productised in our “Staff” flow. - QR self-order, eshop & pay: guests scan, order, tip, and receive receipts digitally; staff stay focused on giving the best service, not card machines. - AI onboarding & menu import: snap a menu or upload a file; Tapp auto-parses categories/items, generates a store description, and lets owners tweak with guardrails (VAT, pricing, tags, duration). - Built-in compliance for UK SMBs: support for e-receipts, VAT invoice scenarios, and transparent tip/service handling—plus card-data best-practice via our payments stack. - Embedded payments on Adyen: unified acquiring, wallet rails, refunds/chargebacks, payouts, and potential embedded finance/share—with clear IC++ economics and SoftPOS fees. - Elite performance: our internal tests show UX runs 2.7× faster LCP and 3.3× less blocking than a leading competitor—keeping staff in “flow” during rush. Why this wins: zero hardware CAPEX, minutes-not-weeks deployment, faster service cycles, and fewer receipt/VAT/tips headaches—all in a single app the team already knows how to use (their phone). Feature depth is production-ready across signup/KYC, menu, staff, orders, payout views, and refunds per our shipped user stories. Whilst (soon) providing industry-breaking intelligence to make the small merchants play in the big leagues. We started Tapp after watching small venues spend too much on terminals and too long wrestling slow software—only to still miss orders at peak. We dug into the UK compliance tangle (VAT, receipts, tips) and saw a chance to bake the rules into the workflow, not bolt them on. Then we validated the experience with hard performance data and a best-in-class payments partner so owners can serve more customers with less kit and less stress. That’s why we’re doing this: give time back to small operators with a POS that is fast, compliant, and delightfully simple.
