Conceiving through donation is often a complicated, highly regulated, time consuming, impersonal and expensive process. Because of this many future parents and donors go to the private market, however the current solutions in place are chaotic, low quality and lack safety. Y factor is working to remove the majority of these barriers. We have built an app that provides a transparent, accessible, and personal way for people to achieve their family dreams through peer to peer sperm donation, connecting future parents with donors. Our company is a bootstrap startup, created by alumni of Navision and Damgaard (both acquired by Microsoft) – the original developers of the products now known as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations.

We make branded community apps for desk-less workforces. Founded in 2019, Monotree is a fast growing and profitable start up with over 250 customers in 18 different countries. We build everything in-house and believe that a state of the art product combined with worldclass service is the only war forward. We are a healthy and streamlined business that enjoys moving fast. Monotree consists only of highly skilled people, who get a maximum amount of freedom to contribute to the company in the way they see fit. We are a part of the new breed of tech companies where profitability matters - we are here tomorrow - and the day efter that. We play the long game. Monotree currently employs 12 people and we are actively hiring for more positions, with at least 3-4 people joining 2026. HQ is in Copenhagen, but some work remote.
