Today, nearly 60 years after the first oral contraceptive pill was sold, most prescription birth control methods are variations on the same synthetic hormones. In collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, we have developed a technology that reinforces the natural barrier properties of cervical mucus. The principle of the technology is to use topically-applied biopolymers to make cervical mucus impenetrable to sperm cells throughout the menstrual cycle. Our approach enables a potentially groundbreaking product that protects within a minute and for extended periods without the systemic side-effects known from hormonal contraceptives. In 2019 we raised $1.8M for pre-clinical development. Today we are incubated at the BioInnovation Institute, conveniently located in central Copenhagen, with access to state-of-the-art labs.

I dag er vi Danmarks største webshop med salg af ure og accessories, og vi er på vej ud på flere internationale markeder. Varesortimentet byder på over 8.000 varenumre, og vi servicerer mere end 250.000 kunder om året. Ditur har sit domicil i Hasselager lige udenfor Århus, hvor dine mere end 80 kommende kollegaer er fordelt på lager, kontor og i vores in-house butik. 1 juni 2021 udvidede vi forretningen med vores første fysiske butik, beliggende i hjertet af Aarhus, hvor vi allerede er blevet taget rigtig godt imod. I 2023 åbnede vi vores første fysiske butik ulandet. Fra den spæde start har det hos Ditur været intentionen at sælge moderne og anderledes ure, hvor kunden ikke betaler for mærket, men blot betaler for kvalitet og design. I februar 2020 deltager Kasper og Mikkel i DR1’s program ”Løvens Hule” med selv samme budskab og får derigennem Jacob Risgaard og Jesper Buch med i ejerkredsen. We’ve developed the world’s first pasta made from bread waste and a self-sufficient giving model! Our programme encompasses research and innovations at multiple levels - from developing scalable quantum processor technologies to solutions for the quantum-classical control and readout interface, and all the way to quantum algorithms and applications. We are located in central Copenhagen at the legendary Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen.
